On Sunday 23 April, in bright sunshine, young and old made a pilgrimage along various paths to Volkenroda Monastery to celebrate the opening of this year's season of the Christ Pavilion in an ecumenical service and also to bid farewell to the long-serving pastor Albrecht Schödl.
At the Loccum-Volkenroda pilgrimage stand, pilgrimage guide Gudrun Laqua and regional representative Cindy Michael gave interested people information about the various options for pilgrimage and the offers on the Loccum-Volkenroda pilgrimage route.
It is possible to go alone or in a group.
Those who make up their minds at short notice can still register for an accompanied cycle pilgrimage lasting several days from Loccum Monastery to Bursfelde Monastery, which will take place from 22 - 25 June 2023.
There are also still two places available on the pilgrimage tour on the monastery path in Thuringia, which will take place from 13 - 16 August 2023.
