"Christmas in a Shoebox" is part of the international campaign "Operation Christmas Child" of the Christian aid organisation Samaritan's Purse. The aim of the campaign is to show needy children worldwide that God loves them and to share the good news of Jesus Christ through the shoeboxes together with local church communities. Since 1993, more than 209 million gift boxes have been sent to children in more than 170 countries and regions. Under the motto "Love can be wrapped!" you are welcome to take part in the campaign. The THÜRINGENTHERME and the Tourist Information Mühlhausen are your local contacts. Information flyers are available in both establishments and you have the opportunity to hand in your shoebox and your donation.
