The historic old town of Mühlhausen with its lovingly restored half-timbered and town houses, eleven Gothic churches and museums offers many opportunities for discovery. Guests can enjoy a variety of events during the summer months. One highlight is the "Clarinet & Friends" festival taking place from 6 to 9 June 2024. It promises world-class musical enjoyment with "Bach in the Dark", "Klangzauber trifft auf Ballzauber mit dem Bundesligaisten Post SV", "KLezFire!" and "Hepta Polka". From 19 to 21 July 2024, the summer open-air festival "Mühlhausen Draussen" offers musical enjoyment for young and old with the band Juli, the 90s Dance Night with the Soundmietzen and Culture Beat as well as the classic Mozart's "Magic Flute".
The Mühlhausen town fair, the largest town fair in Germany, invites you to celebrate from 23 August 2024 to 1 September 2024. A colourful programme in the fairground communities and rides on the Blobach await guests.
