August invites you to discover the historic town of Mühlhausen and get to know the most important festival in Mühlhausen, the Mühlhausen town fair.
A festival for all the senses
The Mühlhausen town fair is one of the biggest funfair events in Germany. It attracts numerous visitors from 23 August to 1 September 2024. The marching band music show, the historic crafts market, dancing and shows in 27 fairground communities and the fairground rides on the Blobach are just some of the many attractions on offer. The parade is the highlight of the fair. It traditionally takes place on the Sunday of the fair, 25 August 2024, at 11:00 am. It leads through the old town and is comparable to carnival parades.
