For the main tourist season in Mühlhausen, from April to the end of October 2025, the Tourist Information Mühlhausen, as a division of Wirtschaftsbetriebe Mühlhausen GmbH, is offering an extended service.

The office at Ratsstraße 20 is open from Monday to Friday from 09:00 to 17:00 and on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays from 10:00 to 14:00. Guests and locals can therefore benefit from longer opening hours. If you would like to explore the town, you can take part in a public guided tour on Mondays, Wednesdays, Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays at 11:00 a.m. during the main season. The meeting point for the tour is the Tourist Information Centre at Ratsstraße 20. This offer is also available during the Easter holidays. From Good Friday, 18 April 2025 to Easter Monday, 21 April 2025, public guided tours are offered daily at 11:00 am. The participation fee is €8.00 per person.
