Where Thomas Müntzer and Heinrich Pfeiffer were executed in 1525, the Mühlhausen city park was created around 1900. Many people still remember the open-air theatre. Today, nature has partially reclaimed the site. Mühlhausen Tourist Information invites all interested parties to a 1.5-hour guided tour of the area on Rieseninger Berg. The meeting point is on 12.04.2025 at 14:00 in front of the entrance to the park (old railway bridge at the WKM). The participation fee is €10.00. Registration and payment are required in advance at the Tourist Information Centre. You should be able to walk well for this tour, as there are also inclines to negotiate. Sturdy shoes are recommended.
