Factory chimneys are as much a part of our city's history as its fortified walls and magnificent churches. It is worth sharpening our awareness of this aspect of the city's history. This time we start in the Nicolai suburb and end at the site of the former Peterseim company in Erfurter Straße. Among other things, we will remember the Lutteroth family of manufacturers, the construction of the Mühlhäuser E-Werk, the C. Schröter company and other businesses, for example in the food industry. The tour starts at the bus stop in Lutterothstraße.
