The pleasure tour begins at the Brauhaus zum Löwen brewery, located in the old town of the medieval imperial city of Mühlhausen. After a tasty beer tasting with home-brewed beer, you will start your hike westwards to the Schwanenteich recreation area.
On the way there, you will see the almost completely preserved city wall, three mills, a historic viewpoint and the most beautiful fountain house in Thuringia. You can enjoy fresh water at the sinkhole spring.
The destination of your hike is the Bratwurst Museum in the Mühlhausen city forest. Here you can enjoy an original Thuringian grilled sausage! You will also be ‘served’ entertaining information about beer and bratwurst. For a fee, you are also welcome to visit the museum.
Cost (including beer tasting, guided tour and bratwurst): €24.90
Participants must be aged 18 or over. The tour lasts 3.5 to 4 hours.
