Immerse yourself in an atmospheric Christmas world with warm colours, festive scents and culinary delicacies. Around 60 traders are represented. The spectrum ranges from Christmas items and wooden decorations to cheese and sausage specialities, delicatessen products, basketware, jewellery and children's clothing to langos, crêpes, baked goods such as the popular Baumkuchen, all kinds of sweets – and, of course, bratwurst and mulled wine in a wide variety of flavours.
Highlights:
- Medieval market in front of Divi Blasii Church with the Mühlhausen fairground railway
- Christmas spectacle by the ‘For Life’ children's hospice on Bachplatz
- Carousels, daily visits from Santa Claus and the Christmas polar bear
- Craft, face painting and reading tent by Lilly's Café (Kristanplatz) with bread on a stick cooked over a campfire, illuminated playground and treats, as well as live music in the evening for the grown-ups
- Pop-up hut: small businesses from Mühlhausen and the surrounding area introduce themselves (Kristanplatz)
Sustainable enjoyment: Thanks to #VerleihBar einfach! drinks are available in reusable motif glasses (€5 deposit, exchange possible). If you wish, you can also bring your own cup – for the sake of the environment.
