As part of the Nature Park Festival on 31 May 2026 in Fürstenhagen, the Nature Park Authority took to the stage to recognise the commitment of eight new and 26 re-certified Nature Park partners. Nature Park Director Claudia Wilhelm hosted the event alongside the Nature Park Partners’ spokespersons, Martina Adler (hs match) and Kerstin Becker (farm shop ‘Der Blaue Schrank’).

Eight new Nature Park Partners

The following were recognised as nature park partners for the first time: the ‘Gemüseinsel Dietzenrode’, the ‘Werrataler Landmädels’ rural women’s association from Falken, the Laun joinery in Creuzburg, Michels Eichsfelder Braumanufaktur from Hüpstedt, ‘Textile Kiste’ from Wachstedt and Eichsfelder Kanonenbahn gGmbH from Lengenfeld/Stein. The Klausenhof in Bornhagen and the Freie Jugendherberge Schloss Martinfeld are also once again part of the network.

The certificates and plaques were presented in the presence of State Parliament President Dr Thadäus König and District Administrator Dr Marion Frant.

In addition, the Nature Park Administration congratulated 26 businesses and organisations that have extended their partnership for a further five years following a successful re-certification. The Nature Park Partner Network now comprises 43 businesses from the Eichsfeld, Unstrut-Hainich and Wartburg districts.
