A mutual meeting between the Heiligenstadt and Mühlhausen tour guides took place last week. The Mühlhausen tour guides had already visited Heiligenstadt in September 2023. The focus was on tourism opportunities, offers and getting to know each other. During a tour of Mühlhausen and a relaxed, cosy get-together, the contacts made were further deepened. Mühlhausen and Heiligenstadt are both towns with an old town centre that is well worth a visit. The German Hiking Day in September 2024, which will also bring guests to Mühlhausen and provide offers for participants of the hiking day in Mühlhausen, is a good example of networking in the region. The exchange of ideas and the pursuit of cooperation are a good basis for future projects.
