The campsite at the Schwanenteich is scenically located on the outskirts of Mühlhausen, nestled between the ridges of the Hainich and the Eichsfeld. The area is the ideal starting point for numerous excursions.

Not only hikes into the local recreation area, but also into the world heritage region Wartburg-Hainich, into the nature park Eichsfeld-Hainich-Werratal or into the historical old town of Mühlhausen with the walkable battlements, can be easily done from here.

Inspire your family with a day in Mühlhausen's old town or in the "Thüringentherme", in whose charming sauna landscape you can also relax wonderfully.
