Once 59 towers of the medieval town wall and numerous steeples used to embellish Mühlhausen. Today you can discover 11 medieval churches, some of them still used as sacral buildings, whereas others have been secularized.
Marvel at the Gothic style elements at St. Mary’s Church, be enchanted by the tracery rosette of the Church of Blaise the Divine, whose style element is reminiscent of the great French cathedrals, or discover the so-called archaeological windows in St. Jacob’s Church (town library).
