Focus on regionality in the product range of Tourist Information Mühlhausen

The range of goods in the Mühlhäuser Tourist Information focuses more and more on regionality, which goes down well with guests and Mühlhäuser residents. "Long-standing partners such as Mühlhäuser GmbH, the Eichsfelder Hofladen, Hainich Konserven, the Seeber butcher's shop and the traditional Nordhausen distillery have established themselves. However, we also want to give small manufacturers from the region a platform," says Nancy Krug, head of Tourist Information Mühlhausen. "The sale of regional products is also close to our hearts because we can strengthen the region and the sustainability associated with it and achieve an authentic and appealing range of goods," Krug continues. New in the range are hemp seeds, hemp oil, hemp soap and hemp mustard from Hanf Industries GmbH in Bad Langensalza. Landfactur GmbH from Kirchheiligen supplies the Tourist Information with mustard specialities from its own mustard mill and the "Blaue Schrank" from Falken with garden herbs.  "Depending on the season, we will adapt the assortment. So there is also an occasion for the citizens of Mühlhausen to drop in on us," says Mandy Wagner, a member of the Tourist Information staff. "Our latest Thuringian products include the popular Saale-Unstrut wines from the Thuringian winery Bad Sulza and the 8-piece gift set Thuringia Peter Hänschen Pils from the Neunspringe brewery, which was initiated by the 1st German Bratwurst Museum," Wagner continues.
