The "New Cemetery" in Mühlhausen is considered by experts to be the most important cemetery complex in Thuringia in terms of garden art, and has been a listed building since 1995. The design of the grounds still bears witness to the innovative garden culture of the 20th century.

The guided tour of the cemetery grounds is offered on 05.11.2022, at 14:00 by the Tourist Information Mühlhausen. The well thought-out and lovingly maintained grounds will be presented during a 90-minute walk. An important point will be the sculptures of the Mühlhausen sculptor Walter Krause. 

Registration and ticket purchase is required in advance at the Tourist Information Mühlhausen, Tel. 03601 40 47 70. Start and end will be the main entrance of the New Cemetery in Mulhouse.
